who we are

stop/time dance theater is a theatrical dance company based in Connecticut. Founded in 2004 by Darlene Zoller, the company presents a full-scale original production each year, and appears locally at various events.  stop/time dance theater is the resident dance company of Playhouse on Park!

Were you a Sonny and Cher fan? Couldn't wait each week to see and episode of The Carol Burnett Show or see the June Taylor Dancers on the Jackie Gleason Show? Whatever your preference, Darlene Zoller and her dancers will take you back and remind you why we all loved variety shows. In addition to the dancing, you'll be entertained with singing, comedy and even a few surprises. And you're right, "they just don't make 'em like that anymore"!
